Colorful Happy Baby Blanket

How I Chose to Crochet the Perfect Blanket for my twins grand babies.

When I found out I was going to be a grandma to twins, my heart immediately knew I wanted to make them something handmade and full of love. I asked my daughter in “love” what kind of blankets she would like, and she gave me a few ideas—all of them colorful and cheerful.

Their nursery is already so sweet, with soft wallpaper on one wall that leans more toward calming, soothing tones. That inspired me to choose a gentle pastel color palette for the blankets, but I couldn’t resist adding a happy pop of yellow to keep things lively and joyful.

I’m so pleased with how they turned out! Best of all, I finished both blankets just in time for the baby shower, and surprising them with the gift was such a special moment.
